bigguy1960 ◊ 2006-09-14 16:13	Movie goof - when the car is being driven slowly DOWN into the canyon, it runs over a rock and immediately there is a big black oil slick flowing out from under the car - presumable from a puctured oil pan. In the restored vision, the driver (Phil Silvers) makes numerous attempts to drive back up the road but can't, presumably because its too slippery from the oil. The goof is this - the car goes on and on and on until it floats away down the river, but the loss of oil never affects the engine!

Lateef ◊ 2020-12-27 01:35	A little late to the party, but there are two cars. Most of the thumbs show a 47/48 model, the mainpic and last thumb display a different car, a 1946. You can tell as the trim is located higher, covering the recess lines (compare with the other images). You'll notice that the rear fender trim of the 1946 lines up with the taillight, while the 47/48 trim lines up with the stone guard. The sill trim does not cover the fender in the mainpic, while it does elsewhere, another discerning point between 1946 and 47/48. You can also barely make out the inner parking light of the 46 in the mainpic. We may leave it as 1947 as they're supposed to be the same car and the 47/48 car is used the most, but the one in the mainpic is actually a 1946.
