Probably '71 to '73. Carpenter windshields were not "arched" after the '73 model. Can't be earlier than '71 because the last window on each side would not be square - they were stationary and were a trapezoid. |

To bennzguy 1986--Having ridden primarily Carpenter bodied buses during my school years-you are incorrect as to when Carpenter went from the rounded rear with the stationary glass to the flat back design. The bus I rode in high school had a new style (ie flat back) that was made in 1966. Although I also did see a Carpenter made in 1967 with the new front and rounded rear.
