Detail at /vehicle_185978-Simca-Aronde-P60-Montlhery-1961.html shows that this vehicle is not wearing US spec headlight... |

Other GM makes of 1959-60 had much more "linear" designs. The Cadillac, with its shark-like tail fins, doesn't alltogether gel with the shape of this roofline. 1959 Oldsmobile: /vehicle_124379-Oldsmobile-Dynamic-88-1959.html 1960 Buick: /vehicle_132554-Buick-LeSabre-4439-1960.html 1959 Chevrolet: /vehicle_181627-Chevrolet-Impala-Sport-1959.html 1959 Pontiac: http://www.hubcapcafe.com/ocs/pages01/pont5901.htm Yes it is still a very nice car! @^@ -- Last edit: 2008-08-02 20:45:23 |

I believe it's a Series 63 style #6339, 4-window Sedan de Ville. You can tell by the upholstery pattern in one of the other views of the same car. BTW, that grille must have been installed after a frontal collision; it certainly is not the original one. |

In the image of the 1963 Ford Taunus, you can see the upholstery pattern of this 1959 Cadillac. From the buttons on the seat-back you can tell the car is a Series 63, 4-window Sedan de Ville. |
