It looks a bit too big for a Simca... But if it is one, it's a 1953 model (by the thick chrome side strip).

Edit: Also it's got a small, white license plate, so it's not necessarily French... Swiss?

I think it is a bigger car, maybe Talbot-Lago or something else expensive??

I agree that it looks bigger than a Simca 8 Sport. What about Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 SS Pininfarina as in "Les félins" ?

I've some doubt; I don't remember a 6c2500 coupè with panoramic rear window. Could it be a Ford Comete Montecarlo?
