DynaMike ◊ 2008-06-11 14:13	Though the original design was by Gabriel Voisin (for the Compagnie Aéromécanique in Paris), since the end of 1953 the Spanish production of the Biscúter was by Autonacional S.A. in San Adrián del Besós, Barcelona. I'd say this should be listed as 1954 Biscúter 200 R. And I'm surprised to find that this is the first on the site...

DynaMike ◊ 2008-06-11 15:16	In the beginning there was only this convertible, but around 1955 other versions came: 200 C (stationwagon), 200 I (van), 200 I-P (pick-up) and in 1957 the 200 F (coupé)... and to differentiate the convertible from the other models it got the 200 R name. I guess we can see the Biscúter as a Spanish product, it looked really different from the Voisin Biscooter (the 1950 model even had front wheel drive, but the 1952 model with engine in the rear looked much more futuristic than the Spanish Biscúter).
ShantJ ◊ 2009-05-03 08:03	It indeed should be listed as Biscúter 200 R. While Gabriel Voisin did indeed design the car, it was licensed out to Autonacional S.A. The car was never built as a Voisin.
