Looks alot like a '74-'78 Chrysler Newport/New Yorker but the hood is wrong for one of those. Windsheild looks GM though... |

oh, this one is for the middle car, I see now the other one is a Olds...:) |

Doesn't look American to me. Volkswagen Dasher wagon, maybe? |

Starting with the hideous green behemoth in the foreground: 1) Either a Cadillac Eldorado or Olds Toronado, pre-1975. (you have to see behind the rear of the door to make the distinction between olds/Caddy - the grilles differed, the body panels did not from front bumper back through the doors, wheel covers differed too, but on this pic.... moot point. The color says "probably-Olds" to me.) 2) European VW product of unknown (to me) model. 3) Plymouth Volare. |

Some details of the burgundy-coloured wagon don’t match with VWs. To me it looks more like a 1972 Plymouth Cricket (US-version of the British Hillman Avenger). |

Agree with fortengo, Plymouth Cricket: the tailgate is unmistakable. I didn't know the wagon was sold in the States. |

Here is a picture I found of Cricket wagon. Plymouth Cricket was only offered from 1971 to 1973. |

Thanks, Raul: that's the baby |

Wow, that's pretty rare. According to Wikipedia and Allpar, the Cricket Wagon was introduced in Spring, 1972. |

Yeah, good eye Fortengo. Those are rare is US. |

First car is either a 72-73 Caprice or a 74ish Ford LTD, second is is a Plymouth Cricket (Based on a Mitsubishi Mirage) there is a Dodge version of the car also, its called a Colt, and the third car is a late 70's Dodge Aspen or Plymouth Volare, kinda neat to see the t-roof. |

^That's not entirely accurate. The original 1971-1973 Plymouth Cricket was based on the British Hillman Avenger. The 1973-1975 Cricket was Mitsubishi-based and was only sold in Canada. |

... and the first car IS either an olds or a caddy. but the t-top mopar is unusual. |
◊ 2010-12-18 19:24 |
The T-top Mopar is a Volare. /vehicle_175782-Plymouth-Volare-1976.html -- Last edit: 2010-12-18 19:26:31 |
