It is a BX Break (stationcar) and has and extra high roof.

They are just called 'Break', at least in official documentation

In France, if I remember well, the BX wagons were called "Evasion" (the normal model, not especially with this roof)

In Sweden they were called BX Kombi in the 1989 brochure.

In Finland this model was sold simply as Citroën BX Van.

Yes, it had to have 3 cubicmeters of loadspace, minimum height of space being 130 cm, so it was possible to register as commercial vehicle, and therefore have much lower tax, meaning it was much cheaper to buy than the conventional Break, of course it only had two seats then...

I found a link with a picture of one:
http://www.citroenet.org.uk/utilities/bx-entreprise/bx-entreprise-1.html

I remember one these, or similar, from a 1988 motorshow in Stockholm. It was painted in the colours of the swedish postal company, but I don´t recall ever seeing any of them in traffic. I´ll check with a friend working at "Posten".

I would add that this type of roof was used only on Ambulance models in France if I don't mistake

I asked about the BX for "Posten" and as far as my friend knows, none were delivered or even used for tests.

If it is Serie 2, how can it be MY1985? Serie 2 was introduced for MY1987... [Image: smiley-signs002.gif]
