If it's the wagon version, the model origin should be Brazil, because we didn't have that car in Europe.

First part of your message is true, but the end not: some European countries got that brazilian wagon version, e.g. Italy.
We have one listed: /vehicle_285113-Opel-Corsa-SW.html

Origin Germany, this car was designed there. Some German students won Opel prize for this project and it was decided it will go into production. I remember article from the 90's.

With that reasoning we have to list all GM-cars of the last years as "origin German", as the design- and developing-headquarter sits in Rüsselsheim. That one in Detroit ws closed a time ago. In Port Melbourne is nothing left either.

Not only the design, but the conception of the car. Here being just a modification of a hatchback, were was that version developed finally?

The sedan and pickup version was developed by GM do Brasil, in according to press, so probably the Corsan Wagon was too.

Made for where then? By default the Corsa wagon would be Opel if it was not for Argentina...

Are the South American markets strictly separated? So that there was no interchange between the countries? In Europe it's usual with cars, produced in different countries. For example the Astra G, which was made in Germany, Belgium, Britain and Poland (plus the Cabriolet from Bertone in Italy). Similar with the Vectra and the Zafira.
All versions were produced in all countries, so also LHD Opel's in Britain and RHD Vauxhalls (Opels, too) in Germany. About a RHD production in Belgium and Poland I'm not sure. And the distributing was not structured. Finally there was no system recognizable :??:
Only by the VIN-number you can identify the production site!

So I have seen, at an Opel-dealer, even in sight distance to the Astra/Zafira-plant in Bochum, how Polish trucks have delivered Polish made Astras and Zafiras. Then they made a turn to the factory, picked up German made Astras and Zafiras and drove back to Poland...

A friend's father, a worker in the Bochum-factory, once has ordered an Astra G, by the special order-line only for employees, with the usual discount and even a few, for normal customers not available extras. When he got his new car, he had seen, that it was made in Britain.

Mercosur (Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay) has a customs union, so manufacturers can move cars made in Mercosur members around within the bloc without having to pay any duty (e.g. Argentina to Brazil or vice versa). In other countries, though, import duties might be high enough to make foreign cars significantly more expensive.

Ah, o.k. - so this means, that the Gomselmash vs acds-bickering could be a bit obsolete ;)
