Interesting, because it is a british version of the DS19, with flat front number plate, small diameter head lights, and 6 round small rear lights, and right hand drive of course... I wonder if these DS were still produced by Citroen Slough factory?

Is it useful to specify that it is a UK version? All DS in UK movies are UK version I guess :??:

Yes to distinguish them with the others (french and non UK foreign countries), as they are really different and specific to UK, i think it judicious to specify it... But if we could have an answer about the plant where there were built it would be better to put this info instead of "UK version"... So I ask again, is anyone can tell if Slough was still operating in UK for this production, the only info I have is about the Citroen Twelve, Fifteen, Light Fifteen and Six Cylinder (UK models of "traction")

Just for the record: from 1956 till 1967 the RHD version of the DS was built Slough, indeed.

Just for the record, English D models were built in Slough until February 18th 1966 (40 years after RHD production began in Slough) when the last car, a Citroen Pallas, rolled off the production line. Citroen Slough also supplied much of the Commonwealth and former colonies with RHD D models. However, Citroen France also built RHD D models, including some for the UK market, these cars were often purchased tax free by British Army Officers serving in Europe.

I have owned/own Slough built D models including the ID19 Safari (reg June 1963, 83bhp), ID19 Super (reg May 1964, 75 bhp), Pallas M (reg February 1966, 109bhp), Pallas H (reg Apr 1966, 109bhp) and a 1961 Bijou amongst other Citroens.

The Pallas, is what is now referred to as the DS21 Pallas, but back in September '65 when the car was launched, it was called simply The Pallas - Slough did not build a 19 version of the Pallas.

As well as appearances in Dangerman, the ID/DS also featured in The Avengers and a whole host of 1960's/early 70's UK TV series and serials. The launch of the Pallas at the 1966 MY Motorshow featured an intriguing mix of very traditional and fashionable images - There were stickers proclaiming that "The Citroen Pallas is the kind of car you fall in love with" done in a flower power style and a Dealer Launch Brochure showing an almost Steed like City gent in bowler hat.

Thanks for these exact infos, 168bhp! :) And welcome to this site. I always enjoy seeing Slough-built Citroëns, especially the mix of DS avant-garde with leather and wood interior... By the way, I don't suppose that the Bijou has got 168 bhp ;)

This is all interesting.
I seem to recall that in one episode Danger Man was driving an early Slough built ID but I cant see any reference to this. The model had the dashboard of approximately 1961 to '64.
