...This 500cc single Guzzi has ton of look-alike variation... Which will be decided... by fortune-telling? :-) -- Last edit: 2006-01-02 15:27:32 |

We can simply label it as 500c then |

If I choose nearest one, select this. Moto Guzzi GTW (1935- suspended by war -1948) Link to "www.vintagebike.co.uk" Sidecar seems made by Meldi. |

I suggested 500cc because another Moto Guzzi was labelled like that on the site -- Last edit: 2006-01-02 17:43:35 |

uhm ... if I recall right (unfortunately I don't have info with me as I'm away from home) the 'GT W' model has an 'inverted fork' design similar to the Airone, whereas the 'GT V' model has exactly the type of suspension as here shown. We may confim at a later time - there are a lot of very minimal differences between designs, and also use of parts in production did not follow a strict correlation order - but for sure is closer to a 'GT V' than to a 'GT W', but oh well ... imcdb lists a CaliII as a T3 so .... PS: I believe the pic in Jun's link is also wrong .... -- Last edit: 2006-10-06 09:00:22 |
