Unless we can pinpoint trim level differences, exterior differences, motor differences, and even cab configurations (trucks) the tag does not get applied. Obviously if the name/marque differs from home country then that is a automatic made for tag. Example would be the Lexus LS 400 vs JDM's Toyota Celsior. Also, to further note NZ is/was heavily dependent on JDM imports. Also, if we cannot tell an authentic NZ model vs a JDM model we generally do not add the made for tag. I hope this helps. Now, if research if done and we can show trims in Japan vs NZ and then we can pinpoint this is truly a NZ model then yes by all means we can add the tag. -- Last edit: 2021-11-22 00:40:06
