pilou ◊ 2005-12-22 10:23	The Rosengart Ariette was launched at the Paris salon of october 1951 , so it cannot be a 1950 , but a 1951 or 1952.These nice small cars were designed by Philippe Charbonneaux.

pilou ◊ 2005-12-22 15:11	Yes , this site is incorrect as the Ariette was effectively launched at the Paris salon of october 1951.In 1950,Rosengart listed its small "Vivor" break that was phased out in 1952 when the Ariette became available as a break version and as an economic version of the Ariette coach called the "Artisane" .These cars suffered from their anemic 747 cc 21 hp side valve engine of Austin seven origin and from their uncompetitive price in the small car market segment.In how far these cars were exported outside of France is unclear but I have ads showing that they were at least distributed in the then french indochina , now Vietnam .
