I stumbled on a bit of info on these 4x4 Cavaliers today:

Quote Vauxhall wanted to make 4x4 accessible to more buyers and opted to offer a modest level of trim to keep the price down. On the G reg the 4x4 cost £13270 - £1500 more than a L 2.0i and £30 less than a SRi. The original version came with L trim: grey bumpers and standard seats although you did get a rev counter.
As it was a 4x4 they were saloon only and used the independent rear suspension, same as the GSi and Calibra. Standard engine option was the 130hp 20SEH with the cat equipped 115hp C20NE optional at extra cost from 91.

The 1991 model year added colour coded GL type bumpers and SRi wheel trims and seats but you still only got the L/GL steering wheel, and no headlight wash wipe, side skirts or front fogs. It did however get a unique boot spoiler. It actually cost £500 less than a SRi with that trim upgrade.

In Cracker they either modified it to look more like a 1991 version, or used the plate on a different car. I note it has lost the specific 4x4 badges.
