I'd say "1930 Model A Standard Phaeton". It's a 1930 radiator shell. "Tourer" was not a term that Ford used in Model A body styles, this body style is a Phaeton. I'd guess a standard phaeton rather than deluxe phaeton based on the height of the windshield. The wheels are the 1928/1929 which are in contrast to the 1930/1931 body. I suspect this is the source of wickey's comment above, unless he noticed something else that I missed. |

Definitely a 1930 Model A 180A Deluxe Phaeton. Color scheme is not authentic and it is missing cowl lights. It appears to be a Hollywood made up car to serve a purpose. I have the 180A used in Thronbirds and it is a mess of body shop glop. Does anyone know where this car is now? email dons@dasaonline.com Don Swofford |
