Looks as if the producers rented Tanks4hire's Ural 375 as well as its T-55: http://www.tanks4hire.co.uk/ural6x6russianarmytruck.html |

Ah, look at that beautiful car, the original ford GT40, in the gulf colour scheme. i love it! Did you they called it the GT40 because it was only 40 inches high. They also made a GT42 for slightly taller people, as it was 42 inches high |

The car featured in this movie was a replica by MDA, and another one was supplied in the movie with bullet holes, as said from the link here: http://www.mdagt40.com/media.htm I must say myself that the replica featured is a well made one, however. P.S. I am sorry if I may have upset anyone by revealing the fact that the GT40 featured isn't a real one. |

The MDA site seems to say that they supplied only one car and delivered it with fake bullet holes: If that's right, the undamaged car seen here is a real Ford GT40, which is then replaced by the MDA replica when it has to appear damaged. -- Last edit: 2007-01-14 12:55:00 |

i'm agree with you. in the making of, 'The Ice Race'. They are not ony showing the aston and the jag. but the car at beginning and they are saiy that there where a few cars. a ford gt 40 and a replica. but they haven't told what kind of replica it was. because they did't want to lose a Old Ford GT40 -- Last edit: 2007-01-16 17:34:00 |

I think everyone may be right about the real car for a scene and a replica w/ bullet holes for another. I'm sorry if I made any error (which I myself highly doubt, since MDA is one of the best GT40 replica manufacturers worldwide!). |

As I noted above, it seems that the undamaged GT40 is a genuine Ford, not a replica. |
