Other than the Bantam itself, there cannot be too many low-loading height Karrier Bantam sized trucks in use in the 1950s or early 1960s (screw-prop plane and Bedford OY tanker)?

The flat surface on the back of the front mud-guard is the same as a 1946 Karier Bantam chassis so probably a post-war Bantam with modified cab or re-cabbed completely.

Not sure to agree with you on this one Sunbar, though I ve no alternative proposition.

I'm more confident than initially but the rear of the cab is similar enough, just with the added quarter windows, plus the chassis details and the rear of the front mud-guards to be better than 50% sure it's the Karrier. However with no view of the front nothing is certain.

Unless is not from a British manufacturer?

To be hoped that it could reappear in another movie, as there was probably a small fleet of them.

Other than the additional rear quarter glasses it appears to be this baggage truck /vehicle_1463603-Karrier-CK3.html

Best identification currently: a Karrier CK3 111" short wheelbase 3-4 ton on smaller 15" wheels

From a Pathé News clip of Heathrow in 1955 the 1946 Karier Bantam was in use as a baggage truck, therefore more likely than the CK3.
