land rover santana
looks like the spanish-made it version, and the simbol have the space enough to put ''santana''under the landrover name.

It does, but would a Santana have right-hand drive? If you wanted to fake a Santana, it wouldn't be difficult to add the badge, and those headlight bezels have an ex-British Army look to me.

Converting a Land-Rover from left- to right-hand drive is not so difficult, but a simpler fact speaks against this one being a Land-Rover Santana: it is a Series I. The Spanish built LRs only started with Series II.

This one is -- here you are right, again, Chris -- an ex-British Army Land-Rover 88" Series I (1956-58). Next to the headlight bezels the rear view shows the military style towing jaw (painted in red) and the trailer socket, protected by a red cover. The longer wings, forward mounted springs and re-enforced door hinges date it.
