Daimler, almost certainly: possibly Empress?

It is an Empress, but how can you tell it's a Daimler?

Hubcaps - and so far as I know only Daimlers were Empresses, if that makes sense.

Hooper built Empress-style bodies for Rolls and Bentley as well.

The rearmost side window doesn't seem to follow the downward curve of the body which may indicate it's a Daimler.

Definitely a Hooper body, but I would say it is a Bentley Empress II by Hoover.

The thumbnail shows a car built 1956.

I thought it had those ugly 'Gulbenkian' front wings but couldn't believe that we would see another one so soon. And you're right, Alexander, it does look more like a Hoover than a Hooper

I like these 'Empress' cars. One day I'll own one.

Taste is an acquired matter. But let's describe it correctly: Bentley S1 Saloon by Hooper 1955 - 1959
