very rare! , and on Imcdb too ==> the 1st on the site ... a gift for DynaMike As I don't see the rear door lines I hope it's not a fourgonnette vitrée 2 doors? ... if it had existed? ...then i should be wrong (..one more time ) |

There has been a Fourgonnette Vitrée indeed (F65 [WL5]), but it had a totally different, edgier shape and the windows in the rear part of the body were more seperated. This is indeed a Break, production of which started on 21st of June 1963 and it may be regarded as a m.y. 1964. Production stopped in May 1965. Therefore the official name is not anymore PL17 but just 17 B Break [L9]. It was planned to be built in Italy by a new company called 'Panauto', with the rear lights of the Fiat 1800, but in the end the Panhard factory in Orléans built it (and therefore the there built Cabriolet was dropped). Some 3000 were built, two of them are in the Dutch Panhard club and one of these is for sale at this very moment... |
