A strange mix of features which don't match a 67 plate. Grille is Mk1 or Mk2. Windscreen is non-wrapround Mk1, but has quarterlights which came with Mk2 wrapround. Steel wheels are early Mk1 or Mk2 - pretty well all Mk3s had wires. Split orange/white front lights are wrong for any 3000, but look BMC lenses. Cockpit on Mk1 should have body colour wrapround metal from door top to dash which is either absent here or been painted out. So nothing says Mk3 to match the 67 plate date. Mk2 doesn't work unless the whole windscreen and pillar assembly has been replaced with the previous format - no doubt it's possible but seems a stupidly pointless thing to do. So that leaves a Mk1 which has received Mk2 doors and strange front lights, which could match. |
