This is a 1955 Buick two door hardtop coupe .This picture does not allow for series identification ( Super or Roadmaster given what can be seen of the rear window line).It certainly is not a Skylark.The name Skylark was used on Buick's Sport Convertible of 1953 and 1954 and reintroduced as a series in later years. |

1955 Buick Super model 56R. Roadmasters and Supers have crescent shaped turn signal. [] shaped vent windows. special and century are shaped /]. Roadmaster has an outside mirror on the door, also an 1-1/2 gold crest on the door above the belt line just below the vent window. |

From 1955 to 1957, all Buick series had 4 portholes except for the Special. (My family owned a gray 1951 Studebaker Commander from 1951 to 1962. My sentimental favorite of 1950's cars!) -- Last edit: 2010-01-26 18:28:47 |
