The hood ornament seems to be based on Norman Lindsay's "Sphinx" sculpture:

Though that article says it dates from the late 1940s, so that would make it an anachronism (this film is set in the interwar years)

Don't know about the hood ornament, but I think that this is an old Vauxhall logo on the radiator?

From http://www.normanlindsay.net/index.php/norman-lindsay-sculptures

"His first Sphinx was crafted in 1927 in conjunction with Rayner Hoff and was just small enough to decorate the radiator cap of Rose's 1926 Vauxhall."

This film used Norman Lindsay's real house (now a museum) so maybe this is the real car his wife owned?

14/40 Princeton Tourer? All the details seem to match this one https://www.bonhams.com/auctions/24121/lot/529/ except the badge on the radiator is different.
