Because if you check the filming locations, none of them are in Canada. This one seems to be missing all its US-spec parapharnelia, so maybe they imported one from Europe. But why would they import a Renault 12, a car rarer in the US than it is in Europe, for just one small scene? CarFax only works for cars 1981 and newer, when the 17-digit VIN was standardized. |
