Yes, you can see the "Florett"-sign on the tank. |

'Bromfietsen' is the Dutch plural for mopeds, 'bromfiets' is the singular. It means: bicycle that makes a buzzing or grumbling noise, buzzbike. But it's just a word, not a name. Mofa is the German word for bromfiets. |

I was thinking Bromfietsen are Pommes frites In Germany: Mofa -> Motor + Fahrrad (bicycle), (50ccm, 25km/h) Moped -> Motor + Pedale 40km/h (now i think it is 50km/h) Mokick -> Motor + Kickstarter (50ccm, 40Km/h, two-seater) Kleinkraftrad (50cc, no limit) Leichtkraftrad (80cc, 80km/h) Kraftrad (Bike) (no limit) -- Last edit: 2009-12-09 11:49:57 |

Is this a version which was specifically made for The Netherlands? The nickname alone does not justify a 'Made for: NL' label. --- I have removed the comb-effect from the original image and replaced it. |

The yellow plate on the front was used on all bromfietsen (bikes with an engine upto 50 cc) and I think it was like that only in Holland. But still, I don't think 'bromfiets' should be mentioned, since we don't put 'car' to all cars or 'bus' to all buses |

Bei Kreidler lassen sich die Auslandsmodelle (NL, F) oft an anderen Farbkombinationen gut unterscheiden. Die hier auf der Seite zu sehende 'bromfiets' hatte Tretkurbeln, die die deutsche Florett nie hatte. -- Last edit: 2007-11-16 20:15:10 |

Auch das war typisch für alle niederländische 'bromfietsen', da sie als Fahrrad mit hilfsmotor gesehen wurden. Auch wenn der Motor ausfiel, mußte man das rad immer noch verwenden können, als Fahrrad. |
