Are you sure this isn't a 1986-1988? It has a CHMSL, full-length taillights (1983 didn't even have these), and the grill from 1986-1988. |

Probably they switch with another car as shown in the thumbnail |

I really don't like when they do that. It makes it so confusing to pinpoint a model year. |

two different cars for sure. The first picture has the 82-83 grill, with no CHSML in the rear window. The second picture has the CHSML, but the car is modified. It has taillights and license plate holder from an 82-83 on an 86 to 89 body. It is pretending the be the same car. Later in the same episode it is discovered there are two cars, as the impounded car is not the one used in the chase, but these images should be of the same car from one single chase. |

Though this scene is set in Maryland there is a Canadian National train visible (the red one); since early episodes of the show were filmed in BC, Canada. -- Last edit: 2023-11-30 23:38:00 |

Identified as a Cutlass Ciera in the episode. Weird that as common as the Ciera was then, they ended up using Centuries instead. |

Somebody didn't tell the writers to change the script |
