"ST200 Production Data

All data for Europe includes Ireland, so there is no LHD/RHD and, hence, Part/Full Leather split.

The Number built
- Total; 4861 (1852 registered in the UK and 3009 in the EU)
- Estate; 1625 (UK = 160 and EU = 1465)
- Hatchback; 2154 (UK= 1490 and EU = 664)
- Saloons; 1,082 (UK = 202 and EU = 880)

Colours

Official Colours
- Imperial Blue; 3574 (Estate = 1121, Saloon = 687 and Hatch = 1766 )
- Stardust Silver; 619 (Estate = 241,Saloon = 184 and Hatch = 194)
- Panther Black; 576 (Estate = 234, Saloon = 197 and Hatch = 145)
- Radiant Red; 26 (Estate = 8, Saloon = 4 and Hatch = 14)

Unofficial Colour (UK Police)
- Diamond White 73; 66 (Estate = 21 and Hatch 45).

Dates
1st car built was a RHD Imperial Blue Saloon on 8/2/1999.
4861st built was a LHD Panther Black Saloon on 23/8/2000.

Limited Edition Numbers

No matter how I organise the data it does not equate to the number on, if you have it, the plaque that came with the car. I now give you an example.
Car 97/300 was built 20/6/2000 and registered 30/8/2000
Car 67/300 was built 21/6/2000 and registered 28/11/2000
So, car 67 comes after car 97 by all 3 bits of data, the VIN, build date and registration date. It is widely accepted that the LE numbers were allocated at random and that not all dealers placed the number on the ashtray.

Update 1: Dec 2013 - I was sent a photo from Germany showing a car with Limited Edition Interior. I have to assume the missing Limited Edition Saloons are in Europe but they do not show up as having Leather interiors on ETIS
Update 2: Summer 2015 - I have now received pictures of an estate in Poland with Blue/Black leather and Badged as an LE car. All looks genuine.
Update 3: Spring 2017 - There are 320 with the Blue/Black Leather and LE trim.
20 EU Saloons
22 EU Hatchbacks
77 EU Estates
201 GB Saloons (Including the 2 early press cars)

Rarest of the Rare
1 RHD Stardust Silver Estate.
1 RHD Panther Black Hatchback (Ireland)
Any of the....
Radiant Red (8 LHD Estates, 14 x LHD Hatchbacks and 4 x LHD Saloons) EU cars
or Diamond White 73 (21 x RHD Estates and 45 x RHD Hatchbacks) UK cars.

Very early cars had Imperial Blue Engine Bays
" - taken from here.

Apparently also "As of 31 Mar 2012 there were, according to a DVLA FOI, 103 tax'ed and 14 SORN'ed out of 160 ST200 estates registered for the UK. Just for the record that was 138 Imperial Blue, 21 White and 1 Stardust Silver.".
