The blue sedan. Although used by the armed robbers in a couple of scenes I cannot find a view of the front. -- Last edit: 2007-08-05 20:11:14 |

It IS an LTD Crown Victoria. All 1983-1991 models had this name, whether they were fleet cars or civilian cars. The LTD name was dropped for the 1992 year. 1992 was the first year that only "Crown Victoria" was part of the name. |

And Crown Victoria was first used in '83 when the Fox-based LTD came out. This seperated them in people's minds. Before '83 the original LTD was simply known as LTD. |

You're about 80% correct? Actually, the "Original" Crown Victoria was a very premium & very rare 1955-56 2dr Hardtop,it has very distictive chrome roof trim, almost like a Tiara or Hairband that a woman puts in her hair(It's the best I can describe it?? )that goes side to side, across the roof & down it's side windows(false B post)connecting the rear fender upper trim.(I'll try finding one here & link it later)There was also a topline premium Trim & Interior option 1980-82 that was called this, name went across "Big"(Real)LTD line in '83? |
