Comes close to this 1954 Chevrolet Step Van:

This is an old Weber's Bread truck, all fiberglass on a Chevrolet P-30 Chassis, they were mainly only on the west coast as the builder (american bodyworks) was based out of Lynwood California. It is related to the older on that Alexander posted. Looks are deceiving as this body style was made well into 1967...

No Step-Van before 1958. This van is more likely a 1948-55 Dubl-Duti (which was in fact sold as Forward Control chassis with a specific body made by an external coachbuilder).

American Body Company Step Van --> /vehicle.php?id=131584

This one has different grill, but exactly same body. Probably older (pre 1955) version.

Elmer, I have a brochure for the Chassis this truck was built on, Chevrolet sold (up until they sold their incomplete chassis division) a step van at least since 1957, yes it was made by Utilimaster,
but it was sold/marketed as a Chevrolet/GMC through Chevy GMC dealers.

@ rmeneses:
No Step-Van as model name doesn't mean no step van as vehicle type ;)
The model name appeared in 1958 only in Chevrolet's truck line, but the (1948-57?) Dubl-Duti was indeed a step van.
