maybe an original bmw? but the rear shock-absorber seems to be very large for a frame-type like that.

there is also a member's BMW R35 from 1938. could it fit?

Front section is no doubt R35 (fender is not original).
Rear swinging arm suspension is strange for this model, but it keeps original cardan drive.
I guess it's modified BMW R35.

It has original front/rear fenders & frame, I think both are not same one.
(Silver shock-absorver should be visible behind his knees if it had modified to swinging arm :) )

R35 with rear shock-absorber its a east-german EMW R 35/3 (with fake BMW logo) from 1953
