This scene was an reenactment of the murder of Barry Seal who was shot by Medellín Cartel hitmen; Luis Carlos Quintero-Cruz, Miguel Velez and Bernardo Antonio as he was sitting inside his car outside the Salvation Army Facility on US Highway 61 (known as Airline Highway) in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on the night of the 19th February 1986. The hitmen were later convicted in May 1987 and sentenced to life imprisonment, it was theorized that Seal's murder was a suspected collusion between several high ranking Medellín Cartel members and US Government officials as Seal was telling his friends and family that he was spying for the US Government and doing work for Pablo Escobar and the Medellín Cartel. -- Last edit: 2018-07-21 06:48:41 |
