 the location is an authentic DDR-border control point (the West German side). As it's not on the countryside and not an Autobahn, I'd say, it's Lübeck-Schlutup. Otherwise due the sign "Berlin-Reisende!", which was meant for Transit-travelers to West-Berlin I'm irritated, because that border crossing was not open for the Transit-traffic to West-Berlin, only for the Transit-traffic to Poland. Or it is Lauenburg/Elbe, where, before the Autobahn A24 was finished in 1984, there was a border crossing also for the Transit to West-Berlin. Otherwise I'm unsure, it it was that kind or urban looking there. |
