AEC RT converted to front entrance? Or is it a Leyland? -- Last edit: 2017-03-28 08:47:05 |

I think that the Regal single decker could well be the answer to this. The sliding door front entrance fits, as does the shape and location of the fleet number plate on the bonnet side. Without really thinking I had looked at the design of the front wing where it feeds into the bulkhead and assumed RT family double decker. It appears that the 10T10s were starting to be sold off from about 1952, until 1957, which would fit with these winding up at Connaught as racing car transporters. -- Last edit: 2017-03-28 21:07:47 |
