The Cabriolet right of it looks like a DKW 3=6. More to see here: /vehicle_528691-Opel-Olympia-Rekord-Cabrio-Limousine-1954.html Wort to list due its rarity? |

Only the 4 rings are same, everything else of your idea is far away from the reality. |

i´ve meant the shape of canvas and rear window, due to manufacturers tradition more, than in the way of Corporate Identity, and i think with 4 rings it has better chance than DampfKraftWagen BTW thought of similarity to Karmann VW too -- Last edit: 2012-09-02 18:05:08 |

The canvas-roofs for post-war DKW-Cabriolets were built by Karmann. those for Horch IIRC not. Hmm, which was the canvas-roof-supplier for Horch? AFAIK they haven't built them by their own. In pre-war-times many of the premium class Cabriolets were assembled on special order by bodywork specialists (often old established cartwrights) as Erdmann & Rossi, Deutsch, Ambi-Budd, Buhne, and others. Yes, Karmann, too. |
