@Raul1983: Is there a better shot showing that is pulling out? At the moment, There is little evidence of either 1971/72 Chevrolet Townsman and Brookwood pictures.... The frequent pictures I have seen is the Brookwood as shown in Wikipedia, but I am not sure about the mid-line trim ![]() Due to no bright trim around the door windows frame and not so sure about the mid-line trim, I am going to say 1972 Chevrolet either Townsman or Brookwood. Sorry about that -- Last edit: 2010-07-24 22:04:51 |

Due to that entire front end, I have not other choice but to declare it a 1972. |

It is considered part of the accessory options, rarely ordered one without. -- Last edit: 2010-07-25 19:01:46 |

It is a Townsman I think. The Brookwood has a sharper line in the rear fenders, Townsman is more straigth, like this one ![]() Link to "paintref.com" |

Unfortunately, the brochure only show two different angle and I am very much assuming that they are both same bumper design (Why would they want to go great expense on different bumper design for different trim level? ) I think this /vehicle_321452-Capri-1974.html shows that it has thin rocker panel trim usually sold in Brookwood version whereas the Townsman doesn't have.If you can find unmolested 1972 Chevrolet Townsman showing the side view, you are very much welcome to do that ![]() |

^Does the man on the left ever move out of the way? Would be useful to see the model name script on the rear fender. |

the man is the late Yaphet Kotto , he appeared in some iconic movies yet general audience probably don't know him -- Last edit: 2025-04-26 21:36:35 |

Oh, I know him from the '90s "Homicide" series. "Iconic" is the right word. |
