Some 100 I suppose; I don't really know much about em. Is that a custom hood?

Appears to be a 1955 Austin-Healey 100M. The recognition points are the louvred bonnet and the bonnet straps, and the two-tone paint which was added at the factory. There were only 50 genuine 100M built with the 110 bhp Le Mans engine fitted, however the factory did sell modification kits so it could be a 100 retro fitted.

From pictures of other 100M cars I suspect this is some sort of modified Austin Healey or replica 100M. Should there not be louvres for the full length of the bonnet? Plus the bonnet straps are not full-width and the rear view mirrors are mounted on the sides of the (folding windscreen?) rather strange?

The picture of a 100M in "The Cars of BMC" by Graham Robson shows a full width strap but no louvres, despite referring to louvres in the accompanying text. I suspect that by now, after 55 years, no two cars are exactly similar. A picture of a 100S on the same page shows a bonnet with two louvres, but a grille similar in shape to a 100-Six.
