This is another Ford LTD....77 or 78. |

Ralph, when you replace pictures, it would be better to update or remove the time tag that is now not corresponding to the picture anymore (despite the fact that it is better to take the same shot as the one selected originally; except if main one was not good, which is indeed the case here as on my pic the car is not fully visible) -- Last edit: 2007-07-28 17:14:55 |

Were those cars midsize or fullsize? You sure don't see many of those cars around anymore. |

Suppose to be midsize in US market. This vehicle share the same platform as Ford Thunderbird, Lincoln Continental Mark V and Mercury Cougar which it was originally from Ford Torino platform. |

Correct except for one of the above cars: The Mark V was NOT on this chassis!! Was on "Big" LTD/Grand Marquis platform. |

Was this car driven by the bad guys? |

yes |

Lincoln Mark V indeed share same platform as Ford LTD II as stated at Link to "en.wikipedia.org" website. |

This car gets hit by Herbie and then a bull, I myself wouldn't recomend ramming an LTD with a Bug honestly. |

It was driven by Alex Rocco(hint, hint.) Another thing. The LTD appears to to have an aftermarket hood ornament. |

The Mark III was the only Mark to ride on the full-size LTD/Grand Marquis platform (which later evolved into the Ford Panther platform - both have the same gas tank setup, in particular). The Mark IV and Mark V rode on the same platform as the LTD II and Thunderbird, though the wheelbase varied depending on the model. Case in point, the Mark V's wheelbase is 120", in comparison with the 118" wheelbase of the 4-door LTD-II seen here. -Kurt -- Last edit: 2012-05-07 00:05:28 |

I wish disney didn't half to destroy classic cars -- Last edit: 2012-07-02 20:31:52 |

Doesn't it occur to you it wouldn't have been a classic car at all when this was made? |
◊ 2012-07-02 20:54 |
So you'd prefer if they destroyed the cars all the way? |

At the time of filmimg it was worthless 3-year old clunker. |
