Looks more like a '67 since it doesn't appear to have side marker lights in front and rear fenders. Clearly says "SHELBY" on rear decklid and has Shelby-esque hood scoops, but Shelby didn’t make a convertible in 1967 and there is a laundry list of the Shelby-specific features which are missing. Most likely some sort of aftermarket modification to a regular '67 convertible. Nonetheless, still a sweet ride. |

Was a Ferrari Daytona in the script. There was even a part where Jack and Lydia lose Scrimshaw's goons by going to Ferrari lovers' convention, leading to a funny bit where Igoe yells for the goon with him to, "Follow the Ferrari!" To which the goon replies, "Which one?!" |

I don't know what horses-ass built this thing but they should never be allowed to work on a car again EVER!!!! First of all look at those god awful fender flares. The brushed aluminum grill surround and emblem are missing. Those dumb-ass pipes coming out the side. The hood looks like a bastardization of two different Shelby hoods put together. And its not a Dodge Charger, why are the tail light bezels painted black? I like Mustangs as much as the next guy but if i won this piece of crap in a contest i would trade it in for something else. |

@stpaulcarguy. This one is fairly mild compared with some of the treasures lurking on this site. You might enjoy, for instance, /vehicle.php?id=383405 but having a strong coffee first may be a sensible precaution. And, no doubt, our helpful team of experts can point you towards some of their own favourites ..... |

Just what everyone here needs. Some A**hole who does more looking at cars like this than driving them. This thing. No matter what it's made of, would haul ass. I'd own and drive it. Nimrod. |

The script said 500 hp, when the driver “burns rubber” in the final seen, only 1 tire is spinning! 500 horses and no posi-trac? It’s a base Mustang convertible, with Shelby/Cobra badging, flared fenders, and “After Market” everything else! Seats, dash, wheels etc. Still, a good looking ride, but nothing valuable. |

that's why we don't trust " they said that in the script " for identification.. ![]() |
