Hi, my name is Shervin, and I'm an automotive historian and filmmaker.

I'm a lifelong car fanatic, and my expertise spans across many different areas of automotive knowledge and research. I'm learning more everyday. As part of my job, I track down long-lost cars, I piece together automotive history, and I chronicle it all in the films I make.

Over the past few years, I have built a private database of California license plate sequences sorted chronologically by month and year of issue, and the total number of plates is now in the thousands, with more being added daily. This is one of the ways I'm able to narrow down exactly what model year a car likely is, and when it was likely first sold.

I'm also constantly working on registries and other research projects related to cars.
