I've been collecting, restoring and racing cars all my life, I prefer early British for their simplicity, I can't become exited about a vehicle for daily use on the streets that requires a computer to maintain IT'S computers or that is so gawdaful complex that the slightest problem requires a flatbed tow to the specialist.
In that I'm not into racing to win--not having the unlimited funds that some do that would enable me to prepare a competitive car but to try and make my whatever crock work better than I can totally utilise.
I do ALL my own work, engines, transmissions, bodywork, upholstery etc. No, I'm not a threat to Hill and Vaughn concours restoration in L.A. but don't elicit laughter.
