It's useless to shoot in this way. You only waste ammunition at get burned fingers (a burned stomach maybe, too), but you don't hit anything, because you cannot aim. We've tried it one time at my army services, to play Rambo - and have seen, how idiotic it is.
To wear the ammunition belts as he does, too. It's heavy, spiky and you cannot handle it. And never have the belts on you, when you shoot - except you want to skalp yourself.
