Seems to be correct. But wide-screen does not mean bad ratio: squares should stay square as long as the resolution in pixels has the same ratio as the screen in cm.

Yes, but all I see on my laptop are deformed pictures (too wide). So I was not sure if they are correct.

Also for saved images or just in the movie? In first case you should pick another screen resolution...
