Alexander ◊ 2006-02-14 23:46	In this film there are a lot of horse powered vehicles, the forerunners of our cars: carriages. Actually the first cars were often called 'horseless carriages'. Let me show a few images from the series: Omnibus Hansom Square Landau Stanhope Wagonette Dray or Open Wagon as used by Great Western Railway Car Trolley Waggonette Cee Spring Canoe Landau Brougham Shand Mason Steam Fire Engine Parallel Pump Fire Tender A lot of the names used for carriages are still being used for motor vehicles. And two more images from the time when one travelled by train:

The episode featuring the MMC horseless carriage, The Problem of Thor Bridge, aired in 1991, and is from the season/series called The Case-Book of Sherlock Holmes which ran from 1991-1993 (including the full-length TV movies). How do we resolve this? Combine them and list "The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes" as 1984-1995? Or keep them separate and remove the MMC from here? -- Last edit: 2012-11-23 20:17:10
