For sure only West-Berlin -sorry, Berlin(West) was correct in the West. To take scene in East Berlin was impossible. When "Berlin" was written in IMDB, it's correct. In the Western eyes "Berlin" meant Berlin (West). It was the "claim to sole representation" (hey, there is indeed a translation for "Alleinvertretungsanspruch" :) , which at least every West German had, not only the politicans. We also have said "Germany", when we were talking about Western Germany. Not nice for the GDR-citizens, when you have said at the goodbye "Now I'm going back to Germany". But it happened hundreds of times every day...

For West Germans the GDR and East-Berlin were something like "athlete's foot" - everyone know, that it's existing very close and nearly everyone is involved somehow, but you don't talk about it. :D
