Stuntastic opening chase scene in this French movie, with the stunt team that worked on Le Casse. My only criticism is that the sequence sometimes feels more like a montage of stunts one after the other rather than a true chase scene, but it is still good viewing and not to mention the splitting Peugeot :D

There was a large mid '60 USA station wagon used by main characters during movie. I don't know for sure, what it was, but always thought, that it was Ford (Galaxie,LTD,County Squire ?)...and remember stacked headlights

Definitely one of my three favorite French comic movies of all time (the other two being "Le Corniaud" and "La Grande Vadrouille". I spent the last 20 years looking for it on VHS tape or DVD; finally I got a buddy in Geneva to record it for me, on DVD, last summer. If they ever dub this movie in English I would highly recommend it for sheer movie entertainment value.
