1974 made-for-TV crime drama-biopic about Charles "Pretty Boy" Floyd, a famous American bank robber, played by Martin Sheen. Sheen was also in The California Kid the same year! Following in the footsteps of the 1967 smash hit Bonnie & Clyde, this follows Pretty Boy Floyd from his beginnings to his life of crime, caused in part by financial hardship from the Great Depression, to his last stand against Johnny Law. Floyd was involved in 30 bank robberies in a crime spree that caused the BOI (Bureau Of Investigation, the former name of the FBI) to label him "Public Enemy No. 1", a designation also given to John Dillinger, Angelo Meli, and George "Baby Face" Nelson.

The next year in 1975, another TV movie about "Pretty Boy" Floyd was made; The Kansas City Massacre, starring Bo Hopkins as Floyd.
