Michał, you’ve found another film for me, haven’t you? |

Perhaps. But most of the scenes was filmed in the interriors and they didn't show much more than on these pics (mainly the "rynek"). The small role of another Englishman maybe will interest you, as the EU06 was made by the English Electric and somehow is a twin of the British Class 83. |

Interesting that about the EU06/Class 83; I don't really know much about British electric locomotives. We weren't bad at steam locos, though: picture of a recent visitor to Poland (I think it's still there) ... |

I can be wrong, but I guess that its visit has something to do with the yearly parade of the steam locomotives in Wolsztyn http://www.parowozowniawolsztyn.pl/home/lang/en |

Indeed. It also appeared at a similar event in Budapest. If you Google GWR 5521 the vast majority of thge results are in Polish, but some are in Magyar, Slovak, Romanian and German, so there seems to have been a good deal of interest. (Sorry, off topic) -- Last edit: 2009-01-08 11:27:13 |
