Shot mainly in Mar del Plata, and also in Buenos Aires.

Melodrama, romance without a future. Social commentary by touches, harsh depiction of the very rich, and cruel portrait of gutless petit bourgeois—I almost recognized myself! A bit too slow, not so well acted, but splendidly photoed. Worth the sight. In my opinion, and with no offense intended to anybody and his dinosaur.

Many mistakes on the es.wiki and IMDb (and the other site linked) about the cast and roles.

Ah, about the carrousel of big, er, of shiny black American cars, some more pics.

Maybe most or all of them have already their page for the movie, but I'm so unreliable when comes the time of identification…

First:

Second:

Third:

Fourth:

Anything new or interesting enough to open a page for it?

Re the 'more pics' above; the 'First' is another 1952 Cadillac Fleetwood 75 the same as the car in the foreground. The 'Second' is one of the 1946-48 Cadillac Fleetwood 75s seen elsewhere. The 'Third' is a long wheelbase 1946-48 Chrysler - possibly this car maybe - /vehicle_853215-Chrysler-Royal-C-38-S-1946.html - although I am not 100% certain as the pic of the 1946 Chrysler does show up well whether it has the longer rear door. The 'Fourth' is another Cadillac. It is difficult to be certain which model it is. I think the aspect ration is not quite correct and it may be one of the 1952 cars even though the tail fins are not easy to distinguish.

Thanks, nz. Nothing more to do with them, then.
