I hate winter too. The only good things about it are Christmas, eggnog, and new Years. When you're a kid, winter is awesome. When you're grown up and have a job where you're outside 95&% of the time, like me, you hate the season.

I'd take the hottest humidest summer day Florida could throw at me over a freezing cold winter day anytime.

And I'm in Canada so our winters are particularly harsh. F*** winter.

My apartment is on the 3rd floor and directly overlooks a large forest. During the winter when it snows the trees look beautiful, I will say that. I've never had a view like that from my window before. Previously I've either lived in a house on ground level/basement with other houses around or in an apartment that faces a parking lot or other buildings in the complex. This time I specifically asked for a 3rd level facing the forest instead of taking the one chosen for me. When it's not snowing I don't like how the forest looks as much so it's nice during the summer when the leaves on the trees make it look thicker and fuller which improves its look.
