wickey 2006-11-17 20:51	uffffffffff, I just came back from theater. Would you guys believe, taht everywhere in the world almost everyone drives some of the Ford concern cars? When I saw Jaguar S-Type passing by like tenth time I was ready to throw up.. (and I really love Jaguars..) Well see for yourself, but this movie was dissappointment to me - second worst from 21 (Die Another Day still holds the crown )
G-MANN 2006-11-17 20:54	It looks quite promising to me, I think I'll see it this weekend. I hope you're not solely judging it by the cars in it. Hecubus 2006-11-20 08:43	I happened to like it quite a bit. Although it dragged a bit in one or two parts, I still think it's one of the best Bond movies (it'll be hard to top Goldfinger though). I did notice that with the cars also (especially that the same Flying Spur kept popping up around the casino), which was a little weird (but, if it gets Bond driving an Aston, it's ok).
Gag Halfrunt 2006-11-21 21:32	I noticed a couple of Skoda Fabias used as Montenegrin police cars. And among many other vehicles at "Miami" airport there was a Cobus airport bus. I also spotted what looked like a Soviet army truck in the African jungle scene. It might be the Zil 131 from Die Another Day.

carchasesfanatic 2006-11-26 11:23	i watched this yesterday and i liked it quite a lot, it was very good, too long perhaps but still great, the roll over was amazing and shamely the 2007 mondeo was there only for eye candy

G-MANN 2007-01-19 16:25	In the Bond novels, Bond often drove a Bentley rather than an Aston Martin, but we only see a glimpse of Bond's Bentley in From Russia With Love. Some of the Bond movies are only very loosely based on Ian Fleming's novels (The only thing A View to a Kill shares with Fleming's story is the title), by the time they got to License to Kill they'd completely used up Fleming's material and screenwriters made up the stories. There's also the issue that the technology the later ones dealt with (as the computer age began in the late 70s) didn't really exist in the 50s and early 60s when Fleming wrote the books. I'm not sure of any of them are completely faithful to Fleming's work, a lot of the action set pieces in Fleming books are changed to something a bit more cinematic (in the novel of Dr. No, No gets buried alive in yellow bird dung). -- Last edit: 2007-01-19 16:29:20

Not One Of The Movies Is The Same As The book, I Read Them all. (I Mean The Books From Ian Fleming)
G-MANN 2007-01-19 16:34	And by the time they got to the Roger Moore films they were probably less and less like the books. Fleming only lived to see the first two (Dr. No and From Russia Love With Love) and they were quite low-key compared to the rest (many people consider From Russia With Love to be the best Bond film). Goldfinger is what really set the mould for the franchise.

bjurmarjp 2007-02-02 00:55	The limousine, in which 2 corpses are found (2 Ugandans), outside a house in Montenegro is a ZiL 117. The view is just from upside and you can only see the rear end of the car, which is black.

modell 2007-03-06 02:06	I definetely saw a dark colored 2nd generation Taurus in one scene. It was parked on the right side of a street, with a view of the rear.
antp 2007-03-06 10:05	But in which scene? About the movie itself, I forgot to post a comment: I found it quite good, though it was quite different from other James Bond movies. I am still not convinced that Daniel Craig is a really good choice as James Bond I was also disappointed by the too short use of the AM DBS, they could at least do a nice chase before destroying it (though that there was already the "chase" with the International tanker, which was nice). I was also disappointed by a part of the plot in the end, but I won't detail that here as it would be a big spoiler

Weasel1984 2007-03-06 15:09	Indeed, different but still very good movie (like for the 'Bond' ), I would even say that became one of my favourites in the entire series, effectively refreshed story.

JAG XJ12 2007-04-05 05:01	i say there are a lot of jags in this flim i was amazed that jags are back in movies now one almost got totaled by bonds aston and one got by that range rover and a gate settint the alarm off. i give this flims five stars
clint thrust 2007-07-22 12:50	I thought that in the scene where Bond flips the Aston, the setting was blatantly, obviously Millbrook Proving Ground. Before seeing the film, I hadn't known that that was the filming location and I recognzed it immediately. Am I alone in thinking that this was too obvious?
