Perhaps he figured no one would confuse the witless banter between Mr. and Mrs. Sloane for his work, but then it's bad enough to probably qualify for libel. I listed three taxis, and there seems to be one more:

Such an obvious knock-off of The Thin Man one wonders why Dashiell Hammett didn't sue. Perhaps he figured no one would confuse the witless banter between Mr. and Mrs. Sloane for his work, but then it's bad enough to probably qualify for libel.

I listed three taxis, and there seems to be one more:
